Priority Mail International Insurance

At the sender’s option, Priority Mail International parcels mailed to many destination countries can be insured against loss, damage, or rifling. Comparable insurance coverage is not available for First–Class Mail International items. Insurance is not available for Priority Mail International flat-rate envelopes.

The following table contains the insurance fees that are applicable to Priority Mail International parcels.

The insurance indemnity limit for parcels to Canada is $675.

To determine the fee when the amount of insurance exceeds $700, add $0.95 for each $100 or fraction thereof of additional coverage.
