Metered mail must be deposited in locations under the jurisdiction of the licensing post office, except as permitted under 604.4.0, Postage Meters and PC Postage Products ("Postage Evidencing Systems"). Permit imprint mail must be presented at a post office under 604.5.0, Permit Imprint (Indicia), or 705, Advanced Preparation and Special Postage Payment Systems.
