December DMM Update

Postal Explorer^® (pe.usps.com) is your source for up-to-date mailing standards. The Domestic Mail Manual (DMM^®) is fully searchable on Postal Explorer and features fly-out menus, cross-reference links, and an extensive subject index. Today we updated our mailing standards to include the following changes:

Hold For Pickup Service Expanded to Additional Products

We revised 508.7.0 to expand Hold For Pickup service to include Parcel Select Lightweight^® and Bound Printed Matter parcels. We published this information in the October 16, 2014, Postal Bulletin.

New Options for Restricted Delivery and Pickup On Demand Services

We revised various sections to introduce Restricted Delivery with Signature Confirmation™ and Package Pickup and Pickup on Demand. We published this information in the October 30, 2014, Postal Bulletin.

New Priority Mail Window Flat Rate Envelope

We revised 223.1.8.1 to add a Priority Mail^® Window Flat Rate Envelope to the suite of Flat Rate Envelopes. We published this information in the October 30, 2014, Postal Bulletin.

Clarifications to Extra Services Standards

We revised 503 to include clarifications and additional references points to make it easier to find related extra services standards. We published this information in the November 27, 2014, Postal Bulletin.
