New Atlanta GA Regional Processing & Distribution Center Goes Live February 24, 2024
As part of the Postal Service’s 10-year Delivering for America plan to invest in the postal network in Georgia and across the nation, the Atlanta GA Regional Processing & Distribution Center (RPDC) will begin operations on February 24, 2024.
The new Atlanta GA RPDC (NASS Code 302RP; Locale Key: 020303) is located at 600 Palmetto Logistics Pkwy, Palmetto GA, 30268-9991. The Atlanta GA PDC (3900 Crown Rd SW, Atlanta GA, 30304-9997), Augusta GA PDC (525 8th St, Augusta GA, 30901-9997), Macon GA PDC (451 College St, Macon GA, 31213-9997), and the North Metro GA P&DC (1605 Boggs Rd, Duluth GA, 30096-1876) will be renovated and will function as Local Processing Centers (LPC) to process letter and flat volumes for delivery.
Renovating these existing facilities will help the Postal Service bolster effectiveness, strengthen customer service, eliminate long term maintenance costs, and prepare us for the next 30 years of operations. These initiatives will also help increase the Postal Service’s service performance and market opportunities, as well as improve employee experience.
