UPDATE 173: International Mail Service Updates Related to COVID-19
On June 4, 2021, the Postal Service™ received a notification from Mauritius Post, the designated operator of Mauritius, advising that the Government of Mauritius has extended the current lockdown until June 30, 2021. As a result, the previously announced restrictions regarding signature on delivery as well as force majeure continue to apply until further notice.
Unless otherwise noted, service updates to a particular country do not affect delivery of military and diplomatic mail.
This service update affects Priority Mail Express International® (PMEI), Priority Mail International® (PMI), First-Class Mail International® (FCMI), First-Class Package International Service® (FCPIS®), International Priority Airmail® (IPA®), International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®), and M-Bag® items.
