UPDATE 197: International Mail Service Updates Related to COVID-19

On September 17, 2021, The Department of Posts provided notification that the Government of Sri Lanka has extended the national lockdown until September 21, 2021. Therefore, the restrictions previously announced will continue to apply, and the Department of Posts will be unable to guarantee compliance with quality of service standards.

Unless otherwise noted, service updates to a particular country do not affect delivery of military and diplomatic mail.

This service update affects Priority Mail Express International^® (PMEI), Priority Mail International^® (PMI), First-Class Mail International^® (FCMI), First-Class Package International Service^® (FCPIS^®), International Priority Airmail^® (IPA^®), International Surface Air Lift^® (ISAL^®), and M-Bag^® items.
