513 Live and Perishable Handling Fee

The Live Animal and Perishable Handling Fee is a fee assessed on all live animals and perishable items (e.g., fruit, meat) entered at retail and commercial rates for Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, and USPS Ground Advantage. The fee is nonrefundable once the item is entered into the network.
